Art Pieters, President and Owner
I grew up in Wyoming/Colorado and since I can remember, I have always loved helping people and animals. I had strong role models in my life including my father and mother. My dad taught me about hard work, providing for family, and doing what it takes to build a successful construction company. We didn’t always have the greatest relationship through the teenage years but we have grown incredibly close now. He was even the best man in my wedding! On the other side, there was my mom. She taught me about kindness and generosity. She was always so positive and giving to other people. Her example of selflessness and willingness to help others was an ongoing example of the way I too want to treat others.

Secondary education wasn’t for me so I decided to join the Army out of high school since it seemed like a better fit. I loved serving my country and having the opportunity to do so will remain a cherished and honored experience I will always carry with me. Show More...
When my enlistment was over, I decided that I needed a job working with my hands so I decided to become an electrician. I went to school and dedicated myself to the trade. Over the years, I went from Apprentice to Journeyman, and shortly after those achievements, I was promoted to an Estimator for Hi-Tech Electric in 2007.

In 2008, I decided that I wanted to be a business owner and give people the same opportunity that I was given. I started IE Electric with Grey Noonan and I am so grateful and thankful for the knowledge and business sense that he taught me.

My values are simple: Treat people the way you would like to be treated. Be kind, generous, and true to yourself. I believe in giving back to the world, being there for people, and making a difference. I think that hard work and financial success should be rewarded, but not at the expense of your family.

I married my best friend, Melissa Pieters and we share two beautiful teenagers together, Kyle and Hannah. My hobbies include spending time with my family, golfing, watching the Broncos, camping, boating, traveling, and enjoying a glass of wine with friends or a beer with the boys.
